This incredible museum is home to the world’s largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils, including some of our most famous such as Australovenator (Banjo) and Diamantinasaurus (Matilda). Not surprisingly, it’s also the site of Australia’s largest fossil preparation laboratory. Only a small number of dinosaurs have been discovered in Australia but, thanks to Australian Age of Dinosaurs, this is changing fast! Here you'll find information on some of the most significant discoveries. The Museum is split between three facilities, the Fossil Preparation Laboratory, Collection Room and the NEW Dinosaur Canyon.
