A weekend festival held on the 4-5 May 2019, celebrating the legendary barramundi, live blues music with Ash Grunwald headlining, the fabulous�Emily Wurramara will be there and more are to be announced. The festival coincides with the official opening of Les Wilson Barramundi Discovery Centre.�This annual event is the first of its kind for the very remote location in Queensland�s Gulf country. There will also be lots of activities on the Sunday, starting with a free morning yoga session, market stalls and an afternoon Big Barra Barbie � followed by an outdoor screening of the legendary movie �The Blues Brothers�. Come dressed up � best costumes will be rewarded!
