One of Outback Queensland's most unique events, the Lake Mooondarra Fishing Classic boasts THREE days of non-stop action! Hosted at picturesque Lake Moondarra, 15 kilometres North of Mount Isa, the Fishing Classic promises fun and excitement for all tastes and age groups. Packed into the three days, the Fishing Classic showcases great on shore activities, over 20 prize categories including $50,000 for the infamous Tagged Barra, camping and loads of entertainment.� Hosted by the Mount Isa Fish Stocking Group the Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic raises funds for the Mount Isa Fish Stocking Group�s fish re-stocking efforts and angler education in the region. The Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic is held annually in October.
